Air traffic controllers routinely perform different obligations and undertakings identified with the control of air traffic and vehicles inside the assigned zones on board a built up air terminal control zone, expeditionary runway, or remote territory landing site. These obligations are performed inside control towers, radar offices, and expeditionary airport regulation hardware. Occupation Requirements: (1) Must meet the necessities/requirements of MOS 7251. (2) Must have a mystery trusted status or break mystery exceptional status. (3) At a MCAS or MCAF, must have control t:ower position capabilities on ground control and tower flight information, or must have radar position capabilities on radar last control and radar flight information/facilitator. Obligations: (1) Performs obligations on operational situations in control towers and radar airport regulation offices less neighborhood control, radar appearance/flight control and radar approach control. (2) GySgt to LCpl: Supervises and teaches learners on operational situations in control towers and radar airport regulation offices less neighborhood control, appearance/takeoff control and radar approach control. (3) GySgt to Cpl: Performs obligations as a radar boss as per the present version of the Air Traffic COontrol NATOPS manual (NAVAIR 00-80T114) at Class IlIA Air Traffic Control Facilities. (4) GySgt to SSgt: May go about as a group boss. (5) GySgt: May go about as a radar boss or Air Traffic Control master (ATCS) inspector at class IIIA Air Traffic Control Facilities.
